OLIGOSPERMIA
Low sperm count in male i.e. called Oligospermia. There are 3 types of Oligospermia:
- Stage – 1(Mild Oligospermia): Sperm count is between 10-15 million/ml
- Stage – 2(Moderate Oligospermia): Sperm count is between 5-10 million/ml
- Stage – 3(Severe Oligospermia): Sperm count is below 5 million/ml
Most common causes of Oligospermia in male are excessive masturbation, night fall, smoking, obesity, alcohol, hormonal imbalances due to stress, strain, long term certain medications may lead to low sperm count.
